PURPOSE: A remote controller with an optical joystick is provided to easily and correctly perform operation of the remote controller with the optical joystick, and to improve productivity and product performance of the remote controller. CONSTITUTION: An optical joystick(50) operates a pointer displayed on a display screen, and is equipped on a remote controller case(20). A laser pointing unit(30) emits a laser beam, and is equipped in the remote controller case. A scroll wheel scrolls the contents in a display screen, and is equipped in the remote controller case. The joystick includes a light source, an optical sensor, an imaging guide, a cover, and a light guide.
