PURPOSE: A manufacturing method for stainless steel is provided to increase the chemical stability of oxidized scale formed in high-temperature condensate by changing the composition of the passive layer and thereby improve the superior corrosion resistance of stainless steel. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method for stainless steel comprises the steps of: pickling a stainless steel sheet containing Cr of 10~20 weight%, passivating the surface of the stainless steel sheet in nitric acid solution, and washing the passivated stainless steel sheet.
