PURPOSE: A free wheel clutch is provided to achieve high spring force without increasing stress in a material comparing with including one spring tongue per clamping body. CONSTITUTION: A free wheel clutch(1) comprises: an inner ring(2); an outer ring(3); a clamping body(4) which is arranged in a ringed space between the outer ring and the inner ring; and a spring strip(6) which comprises a spring tongues(7) applying an elastic load to the clamping body and is arranged in a ringed space with multilayer. The spring strip is shaped of helical. The layer of the spring strip is not exceeded in any site of the ringed space. The spring strip comprises a plurality of individual spring strip sections.
