PURPOSE: A mobile terminal and a data management method thereof are provided to offer a user-friendly user interface, and to improve convenience of a user by managing and offering location information with various modes. CONSTITUTION: A communications part(110) receives a message. A location information part(115) acquires location information indicating a location receiving a message. A control part(180) stores the location information and message in a memory. The location information part acquires the location information with communication of AP(Access Point) included in a WLAN(Wireless Local Area Network) system.
