PURPOSE: A brake device including a safety braking function is provided to achieve a stable failure rate in an electro wedge brake or in an electro mechanical brake by generating an emergency braking power for safety. CONSTITUTION: A brake system including a safe braking function comprises: an ECU(1) which controls braking with a sensor which senses the manipulation of a brake pedal; a main braking machine(2) which includes a caliper(5) including a pad(20) to pressurize a wheel disk and generates the output torque braking the wheel disc by catching from the motor(3) driven by the control of the ECU; and a sub-braking machine(10) which includes a caliper(12) including the pad in the location which is placed apart to the main braking machine and brakes the vehicle with the control signal created from the ECU which senses the malfunction of the main braking machine.
