A REFRIGERATOR

PURPOSE: A refrigerator is provided to secure a wide storage by placing a machine room on the top of a main body. CONSTITUTION: A refrigerator comprises: a main body(1) which comprises a freezer(10) and a refrigerator(20); a cold air generating room(100) for a freezer which is installed in the upper part of the main body and accommodates an evaporator(110) for a freezer with being communicated with the freezer; a machine room which is installed in the upper part of the main body; and a cold air generating room for a refrigerator which independently accommodates an evaporator(210) for a refrigerator. A cooling pan(115) for a freezer which transfers cool air which is generated in the evaporator for a freezer to the freezer is installed in the inside of the cold air generating room for a freezer.
