The device has a metallic guard (10) connected to a valve and insulating a valve stem (7) from an exhaust gas irrespective of a position of the valve. The guard presents a revolution form of axis virtually identical to a longitudinal axis of the valve stem. The guard has a conical shape in its base part (10a) near its end, and has a cylindrical shape in its top part (10b) near its another end. The guard is made of metal such as stainless steel, resisting to high temperature of the exhaust gas, and/or is made of sheet material. |
