摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain compatibility between restraint on adhesion of fuel to an intake passage and formation of a tumble flow in a further simplified intake port structure in a port injection type internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: This intake device of the port injection type internal combustion engine includes: an intake port having an opening opened to a combustion chamber; a port injector for spraying fuel into the intake port; and an intake valve for opening and closing the opening of the intake port. According to the engine operating state, a suitable quantity of fuel is sprayed into the intake port by the port injector. A nozzle hole for spraying fuel in the port injector is disposed in the intake passage formed by an inner wall of the intake port, and a downstream intake passage, which is formed by the inner wall of the intake port downstream from the nozzle hole of the port injector and extended from the nozzle hole of the port injector to the opening of the intake port, is formed linearly extending without any bending part.
