Aqueous dispersion (I) comprises herbicidally active diflufenican and an anionic surfactant (a condensation product of naphthalene sulfonate with formaldehyde), where (I) is free of alkyl phenol polyethoxylate. Independent claims are also included for: (1) the preparation of (I); (2) a liquid herbicidal agent (II) obtained by diluting (I); and (3) a method for combating undesirable plant growth comprising applying (I) or (II) on the plants, parts of the plant, seeds or surface on which the plants grow.
