<p>Disclosed is a method for cutting pieces having a predefined length, i.e. sticks, out of a mass of cheese, in which a cheese bar is first cut into parallel longitudinal strips while being conveyed on a belt conveyer using a longitudinal cutting device. The longitudinal strips are then cut into pieces using a transverse cutting device having a transverse cutting knife, which is conveyed along with the cheese bar during the transverse cutting process.</p> |
