<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for coupling a stair platform to a tower of a wind energy turbine. <P>SOLUTION: The system includes: a stair platform (204) comprising at least one side member (208) and a doorway (200) including a casing (202) defining an outer perimeter thereof and formed in a portion of the tower (102); at least one connection member (300) extending outward from the casing; and at least one attachment slot (304) defined in at least one side member.
