The catheter (10) has a flexible catheter hose (12) recognizable in a body of an animal by ultrasound and provided at a distal end (12a) of the catheter. The hose is arranged in a lumen in proximity to the distal end, such that the hose is removable over a proximal end (12b) of the catheter. The hose is oblong to extend from the proximity of the distal end up to a connection of the catheter over the proximal end. The hose is closed at the distal end and is inserted into the lumen. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for manufacturing a catheter (2) a method for applying the catheter with a flexible catheter hose (3) a device for displaying a signal for a navigation of the catheter (4) a method for displaying the signal for the navigation of the catheter. |
