The device has a bolt (1) blockingly intervened in a parking lock wheel during insertion of a parking lock and locked by a locking element (2) i.e. locking cone. The bolt is externally contacted with the parking lock wheel during mounting of the parking lock. The bolt is form-fittingly securable during mounting of the parking lock. A safety element (6) is fastened to the locking element or to an actuating rod (3). The safety element is designed as a spring element with a lug (6c), which is intervened in a recess (5).
