<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing method and an image processing device in which a progress situation of a job can be intelligibly and exactly known by displaying the progress situation of the job using various animated images. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing device 102 performs predetermined processing to a received image processing job 104 and prepares desired output data. The image processing device 102 can provide visual notification related to the image processing job 104.
