<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damping force control device capable of recognizing deterioration of fuel consumption even under a bright environment not depending on a light emission means. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This device comprises a damping force generating device for generating a damping force to displacement of a wheel, a control means for controlling the damping force of the damping force generating device, and a fuel consumption-related information detection means for detecting the fuel consumption-related information of a vehicle.
