<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcasting demodulating device which permits the reduction of circuit scale. <P>SOLUTION: A TS (transit switch) packet is input into an external code decoding unit 20 for sequential error correction and then stored in a packet buffer 52. When a recorrection determination unit 51 receives information from the external code decoding unit 20 with reference to one TS packet not having subjected to error correction, the information indicating that error correction of the TS packet lying in the same hierarchy and coming later in a time axis, has been carried out, the TS packet is output from the packet buffer 52 to the external code decoding unit 20 to carry out future erasure correction by the external code decoding unit 20 so long as the present is in the processing period of null TS packet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
