<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vane structure reducing air resistance of a vane body and effectively intercepting wind by the vane body. <P>SOLUTION: A vane for a vertical axis wind power generator includes: the vane body 1 defining a rearward recess 12 and having a front plate portion 111 with a through-hole 116; a second end part 22 connected to the vane body; a first end part 21 provided at the through-hole; a first arcuate guide bar 5 located in the recess 12; a hollow screen 3 fitted in the through-hole and connected to the first end part of the first arcuate guide bar; and a first movable baffle unit 4 slidably fitted around the first arcuate guide bar and pivotally connected to the vane body to openably cover the hollow screen. When the rearward recess is against the wind, the first movable baffle unit covers the hollow screen in the rearward recess to effectively intercept the wind. When the rearward recess is before the wind, the first movable baffle unit naturally opens to reduce the air resistance to the vane. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
