<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a normal saline solution having an electrolyte concentration giving an osmotic pressure nearly equal to that of human body fluid while keeping characteristic mineral balance of deep ocean water. <P>SOLUTION: The normal saline solution is produced by adding deep ocean water subjected to bacterium elimination and bactericidal treatment to fresh water obtained by desalting deep ocean water by reverse osmosis method or fresh water obtained by purifying deep ocean water or water other than deep ocean water by a reverse osmosis membrane apparatus, a distillation apparatus, an electrolyzing apparatus, an electrodialyzing apparatus or an ion exchange apparatus. The obtained normal saline solution has an electrical conductivity of 50-100 mS/m and an electrolyte concentration of 0.64-1.36%. Preferably, the normal saline water produced by the production method has an electrical conductivity of 66.6-72.8 mS/m and an electrolyte concentration of 0.86-0.95%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
