<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an art for a vertical fish roaster which uses far-infrared rays. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A fish roasting cylinder 4 is formed by joining two semicylinders in a clamshell structure by a hinge. A mirror plate 5 is fixed along inner walls of the semicylinders. Further, a lattice lid 6 is provided on a top part of the fish roasting cylinder 4 so as to be easily detachable, a rotating means 13 is provided in a suitable position of the lattice lid 6, and a hanger 8 having a fish fastener 7 on a tip thereof is fixed on the rotating means 13 so as to be associated with the rotating means. Furthermore, a revolving means 15 is provided on the rotating means 13. Further, a holder 9 for a heater is provided on the mirror plate 5 fixed on the semicylinders. A far-infrared heater 10 is mounted on the holder. Further, an oil drain pan 11 is provided at a lowest part of the fish roasting cylinder 4 so as to be easily detachable, and a deodorizing means 12, such as activated carbon, is provided on top of the lattice lid 6 so as to be easily detachable.
