PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an isolated nucleic acid encoding a mammalian prostate cancer antigen diagnosis marker 1 (PCADM-1) or its fragment and to provide a prostate cancer detecting and treating method including detection of the PCADM-1 fragment.

SOLUTION: There are provided an isolated nucleic acid specifically binding with a mammalian leukemia cell breakpoint cluster region binding protein, and an isolated polypeptide containing the mammalian prostate cancer diagnosis marker 1 having an amino acid sequence comprising a specific sequence, wherein the polypeptide can specifically bind with at least one of nucleic acids having the specific sequence.
