<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production process of an LED unit that can prevent an air gap from occurring at an interface of a thermal conductive insulating resinous layer and a metallic heat dissipating member. <P>SOLUTION: A poly ethylene terephthalate (PET) film 92 of a highly thermally conductive insulating sheet 90 is brought into a state of being in contact with a metallic heat dissipating member 100, and the metallic heat dissipating member 100 and the insulating sheet 90 are heated, whereby the thermally conductive insulating resinous layer 91 of the insulating sheet 90 is melted and a low degree of viscosity. After that, the insulating sheet 90 is turned back, and while a cylindrical rubber roller 130 is moved from the central part to the end of the insulating sheet 90 at the side of the insulating sheet 90's PET film 92, the insulating sheet 90 is pressurized and heated to temporarily fasten the sheet 90 to the metallic heat dissipating member 100, and the PET film 92 is peeled off the thermally conductive insulating resinous layer 91. Next, the thermally conductive insulating resinous layer 91 is cured by a temperature higher than a curing temperature, whereby it is permanently fastened to the metallic heat dissipating member 100. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
