PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rectangular can body that can certainly maintain its sealing. SOLUTION: A rectangular can body 1 includes a rectangular can body 2 having a can bottom 5 integrally formed therewith, an easy-to-open can lid 3 double seamed with the can body 2, a neck-out part 7 extended outward from the upper edge part of the can body 2, and a flange part 7a standing up from the outer edge part of the neck-out part 7.
