A ship's window comprises a large fired light 2 and a small pivoted light 3 which has a spring loaded bolt 14, 18, 19 at one side, the tip 27 of which is engageable with one of the recesses 28 of the D-shaped lug 24. The bolt may be withdrawn from the recess 28 by lateral rotation of the knob 20 in the slot 22. The small window may be secured in the closed position by the pivoted screw 11 and wing nut 12. |
