<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for controlling an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) utilizing a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The UPS (10) utilizing a vehicle includes an energy accumulating system (12) positioned on the vehicle (20) to generate a DC power to be transmitted to an external load, and includes a DC-AC inverter (16) connected with the on-vehicle energy accumulating system to receive a DC power therefrom and invert the DC power to an AC power available with the external load. Moreover, the UPS utilizing the vehicle includes a charging apparatus (14) positioned on the vehicle and connected with the on-vehicle energy accumulating system to supply a recharging power thereto, and a controlling system (18). The controlling system determines one of the state and voltage of the energy accumulating system and supplies the recharging power to the energy accumulating system to operate the charging apparatus selectively for maintaining the charging state or voltage of the energy accumulating system within a predetermined scope. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
