<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the occurrence of interruption since needless interruption occurs even if image formation can be carried out even in a multiple feeding state since image formation used to be carried out again after the multiple feeding is resolved by interrupting image formation when a transfer material is in a multiple feeding state. <P>SOLUTION: The image formation is carried out in the multiple feeding state without interrupting the image formation when it is determined that the image formation can be carried out still in the multiple feeding state by carrying out the further fragmentation of the multiple feeding situation according to the degree of overlapping of the transfer material after the transfer material is detected to be in multiple feeding in an image forming apparatus. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
