PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical wavelength selection switch which gives an optical path length difference between respective channels of wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) light with low loss. SOLUTION: The optical wavelength selection switch 1 gives an angular dispersion to the WDM light from an input port Pin according to wavelength with a spectroscopic element 14 and condenses light of each channel with a first condensing device 15 and gives the light to a first movable mirror part 16. The first movable mirror part 16 sends the desired channel to a delay optical system and returns the other channels to the spectroscopic element 14 side. The delay optical system forms a relay optical system with first and second movable condensing devices 15, 17 and a second movable mirror part 18, and repeatedly reflects the light which shuttles in the delay optical system on the first movable mirror part 16, and guides the light to an output port via the first light condensing device 15 and the spectroscopic element 14.
