PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic device adjusting a loop gain to be optimal according to a change in an environment. SOLUTION: An acoustic device 1 includes two loudspeakers SP1 and SP2, and one portable microphone MIC. The acoustic device 1 superposes a PN code having a high autocorrelation on a sound signal collected and generated by the microphone MIC to output to the loudspeakers SP1 and SP2. The acoustic device 1 stores a loop gain in a storage unit 27 in associations with a distance D1 from the loudspeaker SP1 to the microphone MIC and a distance D2 from the loudspeaker SP2 to the microphone MIC. The acoustic device 1 acquires a loop gain corresponding to the distance D1 and the distance D2 that are measured as a threshold value from the storage unit 27, and, when an estimated loop gain approaches to the threshold value, adjusts the loop gain of the device assuming that howling occurs. In addition, when howling occurs, the acoustic device 1 registers the loop gain in the storage unit 27 in associations with the distance D1 and the distance D2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
