ADAPTER DEVICE AND CUSTOMIZATION METHOD USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To customize screen data output by a server to suit a client.

SOLUTION: The adapter device prepares: a server scenario definition defining relation between a screen to the client from the server and input data item from the client for output of the screen; and a screen design definition defined according to a characteristic of the client. When input data corresponding to the input data item defined in the server scenario definition are stored in an input memory, the input data corresponding to the input data item are output to the server. Data output from the server stored in an output data memory are output to the client according to a screen design defined in the screen design definition.
