<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal device, a server, and an information collection system, method and program, for obtaining the state of external data used by a user. <P>SOLUTION: Each of a plurality of terminal devices 10_1-10_n constituting an information collection system 1 accesses and displays the external data DT, and causes the server 20 to collect identification information INF1 of the external data DT, and at least one of access time information INF2 to the external data DT and state information INF3 showing a display state of the external data DT.
