PRIMER SET FOR DETECTING LIMNOPERNA FORTUNEI AND METHOD FOR DETECTING AND QUANTITATIVELY DETERMINING LARVA OF LIMNOPERNA FORTUNEI USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily detecting the larva of Limnoperna fortunei and quantitatively determining the population thereof simultaneously.

SOLUTION: It is judged whether or not Limnoperna fortunei larva exists in a test sample by whether to cause gene amplification in the test sample by performing PCR using a primer set for detecting Limnoperna fortunei which includes a primer including an oligonucleotide comprising a base sequence represented by SEQ ID NO: 1 and a primer including an oligonucleotide comprising a base sequence represented by SEQ ID NO: 2. The population of Limnoperna fortunei larva in a test sample is quantitatively determined from the increment of gene in the test sample which is obtained by performing PCR using the primer set to the test sample and by using a calibration curve preformed by researching the relationship between the population of Limnoperna fortunei larva and the increment of the gene by performing PCR using the primer set to a plurality of samples containing the known population of Limnoperna fortunei larva separately.
