<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain unevenness in the brightness for each semiconductor light-emitting element column. <P>SOLUTION: The light-emitting element has a laminated structure, made by laminating an electrode 12, a light-emitting layer 13, an electrode 14, and a refractive index distribution lens 17. The refractive index distribution lens 17 is provided with a plurality of concentric ring belts 31, 32, respectively, in which 17, an area divided for each one ring belt 31 and each one ring belt 32 from a concentric center toward outside in a radius direction, is a single zone 30. At each zone 30, transparent materials A, B with different refraction indices are used, the ring belt 31 inside each zone 30 formed of a high-refraction-index transparent material B, and that 32 formed of a low-refraction-index transparent material A. The width c of each zone 30 is to be not more than the wavelength of light from the light-emitting layer 13, the ratio of each width of the ring belt 31 to the ring belt 32 in one zone is set such that effective refraction index at the zone 30 is to be smaller, as going from the concentric center closer to the outside in a radial direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
