<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hard coat film which is excellent in abrasion resistance and hardness. <P>SOLUTION: In the hard coat film, first and second hard coat layers are placed in turn on one side of a light transmitting base film. The first layer is made of the cured product of a first curable resin composition containing reactive silica particles 10-100 nm in mean primary particle size and a first binder. The second layer is made of the cured product of a second curable resin composition containing a second binder. The thickness of each of the first and second layers is 1-20 μm, and the total thickness of the two layers is 25 μm or below. The Martens' hardness of the first layer is larger than that of the second layer. The recovery rate, when a load in the layer normal direction is canceled, of the second layer is larger than that of the first hard coat layer. The horizontal force when it is cut horizontally at a constant speed while a load in the normal direction is applied to each of the first and second layers of the second layer is greater than that of the first layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
