<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent wrong selection caused by shaking of a pointing device. <P>SOLUTION: A data processing apparatus 200 used for data processing system (for example, menu selection system) includes: a cursor position detection part 212; a display control part 216 which displays a cursor; a switch operation signal detection part 214; a cursor position storage part 220 which stores cursor position information output from the cursor position detection part 212 over a predetermined period; a cursor position comparison part 254 which compares the information of a first cursor position which corresponds to a first time point when turn on of an operation switch SW is detected, with the information of a second cursor position which corresponds to a second time point when turn off of the operation switch SW is detected, and detects whether a first selection result based on the information of the first cursor position is the same with a second selection result based on the information of the second cursor position; and an event creation part 224 which creates an execution event only when agreement is detected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
