<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable toner, wherein embedding or separation of an external additive is prevented even in use in a high-speed machine and stable and persistent durability is exhibited, for electrostatic charge development. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The toner for electrostatic charge development includes at least a binder resin, coloring particles containing a coloring agent, and the external additive added to the coloring particles. On the surface of the coloring particle 2, 5-30% by number of aggregated particles 1A, which are formed when at least two or more particles of a first external additive having a primary particle size of 50-150 nm are aggregated together, exist for all the first external additive particles existing on the coloring particle surface.
