Provided is a counter which operates by only the weight of a moving body and makes counting itself fun. When a glass ball as a moving body moves down the slope of the top surface of the counter by gravity, the moving body drops into the space of the first place where the cap (33) is opened among the multiple spaces of the places. The number of moving bodies dropped increases and reaches a number smaller by one before a carry occurs, a cap sensor (30) detects the number, and the cap (33) is closed. As a result, the next moving body can drop into the space of the next place. When the next moving body drops into the space of the next place, rotatable supporting plates (50) disposed in the spaces of all the places which are smaller than the next place are opened, and the moving bodies are ejected from the spaces of the places. The place values are displayed on the front surface of the counter, and thereby the number of moving bodies is shown. All the parts of the counter operate by only the weight of the moving body, and the user can use the counter while being amused by the automatic carry.
