<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inner rotor type DC motor with a brush wherein constituent members such as a slip ring which are necessary for power supply from outside are eliminated. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A solar power generation DC motor 10 with a brush comprises a stator 12 having a plurality of magnetic poles 18 on the inner periphery; a commutator 22 for supplying power to a coil of each magnetic pole 18; a rotor 14 which is disposed inside the stator 12 and has permanent magnets fixed on the outer periphery; a rotating shaft 24 which is fixed through the center of the rotor 14 and is rotatably supported with respect to a case member 16a; a brush member 32 held by a holder 28 fixed to the rotating shaft 24 so that the leading end thereof may be brought into slide contact with the commutator 22 with the rotation of the rotor 14; and a solar power generation member 60 which is a tubular element fixed to the holder 28 and supplies power generated by a solar panel disposed on the outer peripheral surface to the brush member 32 via wires 45 and 47 provided in the holder 28.
