PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article with an excellent fitting capacity by preventing a gap from being generated between a front high center part and a back high center part in fitting despite the arrangement of a high center part composed of the front high center part and a back high center part, and also preventing the leakage of a body fluid such as menstrual blood by adhesion onto the groove of hips. SOLUTION: The sanitary pad 1 includes: a front surface sheet 2; a back surface sheet 3; and an absorbent body 4 interposed between the both sheets. The absorbent body 4 includes the front high center part 41 and the back high center part 42 whose widths are smaller than that of the absorbent body 4 and which are projected in convex shapes and arranged in the front part b and the back part c of the sanitary pad 1. The front high center part 41 is formed in an excretion region (a). In the sanitary pad 1, a pair of front grooves 61 axisymmetrically arranged with respect to the CL line of the sanitary pad 1 are formed along the side part 41a of the front high center part 41 and also formed in the convex shapes toward outer sides in a width direction. Convex middle grooves 7 to be extended in the width direction toward the back high center part 42 are formed between the front high center part 41 and the back high center part 42.
