The arrangement has two sealing partners, and a seal (18) provided for sealing the sealing partners together in section-wise. The seal is formed from fluid sealing masses e.g. two-component masses, that are reinforced and/or hardened, where one of the sealing partners is assembled with the reinforced and/or hardened sealing masses. The seal is designed as a cord sealing, and the masses are made from silicone-based elastomer. The sealing partner has a groove (17) with a base section, and a chamfering section is provided at the base section. An independent claim is also included for a method for mounting a housing.
