<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that throughput is deteriorated because a preamble having a length necessary to optimize a gain and an offset compensation voltage must be added to an optical signal. <P>SOLUTION: Reception setting applicable to data reception subsequently executed is executed on the basis of a result of measurement of an optical signal strength of a transmission permission request frame to be received prior to data transmission. The transmission permission request frame to be transmitted prior to the data transmission is added with a preamble having a sufficient length enough to measure the optical signal strength and is transmitted, and a frame to be used for subsequent transmission is added with a short preamble and is transmitted. Alternatively, table recording parameters of reception setting suitable to the data transmission is created for each identification information of a transmission source on the basis of a result of measurement of the optical signal strength of a test frame received prior to the data transmission. When an optical signal arrives, the table is searched on the basis of the identification information of the transmission source of the optical signal, and reception setting applicable to reception of the optical signal is executed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
