摘要 #CMT# #/CMT# An actuation sub-assembly has a movable actuating mechanism that rotates axially around a skewer (4) and transmits a tightening torque to a tightening sub-assembly when the quick-release axle is being tightened. A tightening torque limiting mechanism forms a disengageable connection interface that limits the torque transmitted by the actuation sub-assembly to the tightening sub-assembly from the limiting value of torque or from a predefined range of tightening torque values. #CMT# : #/CMT# An independent claim is included for a quick release device. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Quick-release system for the quick-release device which is an axle of a bicycle wheel (all claimed). #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# Due to the arrangement for recovering the torsional forces positioned in the vicinity of the actuation sub-assembly, it is not necessary to size the skewer over its entire length to resist the torsional stresses generated during the actuation of the actuation sub-assembly. The quick-release system improves the control and management of the tightening force for the user, by not having the force to be directly a function of the user's physical strength. The system also provides the user with an indication of the correct tightening. The system eliminates the possibility of applying an excessive traction force to the skewer to prevent damage the elements and/or the need for oversizing or using expensive materials having exceptional mechanical characteristics. The system reduces the weight of the quick-release axle. The system improves the tightening efficiency of the axle.
