PURPOSE: An oil seal with enhanced oil-leak prevention performance is provided to maintain low pressure during low speed rotation and high pressure during high speed rotation by employing a counter balance reacting to a centrifugal force. CONSTITUTION: An oil seal with enhanced oil-leak prevention performance comprises a shaft sealant(1), a housing holding rubber(3), an elastomer(5), and a counter balance(10). The shaft sealant is fixed to a shaft. The housing holding rubber is connected to one side of the shaft sealant to be fixed to a housing. The elastomer is inserted into the shaft sealant in order to enhance the contact force of the shaft sealant. The counter balance controls the contact force of a lip portion of the shaft sealant, to which the elastomer is connected, by the centrifugal force according to the speed of rotation.
