APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR ESTIMATING CHANNEL USING CODE EXPANSION IN MOBILE TELECOMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A device and a method for estimating channel using code expansion in a mobile telecommunication system are provided to assigns high MCS(Modulation and Coding Scheme) in scheduling of uplink, thereby improving data throughput. CONSTITUTION: A CP(Cyclic Prefix) remover(61) removes CP in a receiving RS(Reference Signal). A FFT(Fast Fourier Transform) performance unit(62) performs FFT of the RS. A subcarrier demapping and CAZAC(Constant Amplitude Zero Auto Correlation) code generator(63) performs code compensation about the converted RS. A code extension unit(64) expands the code by code addition about the RS. A noise and interference remover(66) removes the noise and interference in the RS. A channel estimator(68) estimates channel by removal of added codes in the RS signal.
