PURPOSE: An electrode absorption for deionization, an electronic absorption deionization apparatus including the same and an electric bi-layer capacitor are provided to recover an active surface using a desorption operation of ions aborted on an active material of an electrode in a discharging process. CONSTITUTION: An electrode for an electronic absorption deionization includes an active material having a specific surface area of an O/C atomic ratio of 0.1-1 and 500-3,000 m^2/g. The active material includes a functional group having oxygen more than one kind among a phenol, a phenoxy, a lactone(COO), a carboxyl(COOH), a carbonate(OCOO) and a carbonyl(C=O). The active material includes a carbon black. The carbon black includes a Ketjen black. The electrode for the electronic absorption deionization includes the active material of 70~98 weight%.
