A COLD THERMAL STORAGE SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE

PURPOSE: A cool air storage system for vehicles is provided to enhance the cooling performance by deciding the efficient cool air storage/discharge section of a cool air storage system using a TPS(Throttle Position Sensor) signal. CONSTITUTION: A cool air storage system for vehicles comprises a refrigerant storage. It is determined based on a throttle valve position value whether there is the load applied to the engine(S200). If no(S310), a cool air storage is performed using the engine operating by inertia by operating the air conditioner to store cool air(S320). If yes, the air conditioner is continuously operated to store cool air(S420) when the cool air storage is needed and the air conditioner is not operated and discharges cool air(S430) when not needed.
