PURPOSE: A manhole cover having a rim-extension hinge opening structure is provided to enable easy opening/closing of a manhole and to prevent the theft of the manhole cover. CONSTITUTION: A manhole cover having a rim-extension hinge opening structure comprises a manhole support(20) and a cover(30). The cover is installed in a mounting projection of the manhole support in order to open or close the opening of the manhole support. The cover has a hinge part(31) on one side. The manhole support has a hinge receiving part(23) protruding from one side corresponding to the hinge part of the cover.
