PURPOSE: A performance measuring device and a method thereof are provided to measure the performance of configured paths on a network without any measuring passive performance actions of an operator. CONSTITUTION: A performance measuring device(300) comprises a performance measuring unit(310), a performance information collecting unit(320), and a program providing unit(330). The performance information collecting unit collects performance information from nodes. Nodes are included in a route of a network. The performance measuring unit measures the performance of the route by the collected performance information. The performance measuring unit transmits the satisfaction of the measured performance about the standard performance.
