PURPOSE: A system and a method for monitoring optic repeater are provided to use pilot repeater which monitor terminal is mounted, thereby checking optical repeater which failure is generated, even in case of a plurality of optical repeaters is connected in service type. CONSTITUTION: A wireless repeater(300) is connected to an optical repeater(200) by wireless. The wireless repeater relays a wireless communication signal between a mobile terminal(400) and optical repeater. The wireless repeater comprises a monitoring terminal. The monitoring terminal measures wireless quality with operation state of a wireless repeater. A monitoring terminal provides state information and quality information corresponding to measured information. A monitoring server(500) performs monitoring of the optical repeater.
