GAS PIPE REMOVAL SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR REMOVING GAS PIPE USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A gas pipe removal system and a gas pipe removal method using the same are provided to rapidly perform removal work by preventing the leakage of gas during task and performing excavation work with small area. CONSTITUTION: A gas pipe removal system(100) comprises a gas shut-off valve(120), a hollow plug disassembling housing(150), a plug shaft(180), a shaft housing(160), and a gas-barrier plug(102). The gas shut-off valve is installed on the top of the main pipe. The gas shut-off valve lets gas to flow to a branch pipe or cut off gas. The plug disassembling housing is installed on the upper part of the gas shut-off valve. The plug shaft passes through the inside of the gas shut-off valve and the plug disassembling housing. The shaft housing supports the translation of the plug shaft. The gas-barrier plug is installed in or dismounted from the main pipe.
