<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base device with superior earthquake resistance stably installable to prevent it from being turned over or tilted down by an earthquake. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This earthquake-resistant base device includes a block-shaped base body 11 on which an outdoor device installed outdoors is placed, a device connection member 12 for connecting the base and the outdoor device, an underground connection member 13 extending from the base into the underground, and a buried plate 14 attached to the lower end of the underground connection member. When an external force is applied to the earthquake-resistant base device, the device functions so that the buried plate 14 joined to a base body 11 through the underground connection member 13 resists the turning-over or tilting-down of the device to prevent it from being turned over or tilted down.
