<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor driving device that achieves improvement in motor efficiency by reducing cogging torque. <P>SOLUTION: The motor driving device has a motor including: a rotor 1 that has a magnet 2; and a stator that has coils 5, 6, giving turning force to the magnet, wherein the stator includes a pair of yokes 3, 4 arranged with a phase difference deviated by an angle of α° from 180/n° oppositely to driving magnetization parts 21a, 21b of the magnet. The motor driving device also has: one detecting part 9 for detecting the rotor position by detecting the positions of the centers 23a-23d with the highest magnetic-flux density in the poles 22a-22d of the driving magnetization parts and the position deviated by the angle of α° from the center of each pole; and a drive control part that outputs a conduction switching signal for switching a conduction direction of the coils according to the detection result of the detecting part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
